Using Cono with Zoom
Capture a meeting
When a meeting hosted by your connected Zoom account starts, Cono receives the meeting audio in real time through Zoom’s real-time media streams. You can turn automatic capture on or off in Settings → Integrations → Zoom. Zoom shows all participants an indicator that the meeting content is being shared with an app.
Use case: your weekly team sync is captured automatically, so no one needs to take notes.
Meeting minutes
When the meeting ends, Cono transcribes it, labels each speaker and generates the minutes. Find them in Meetings within a few minutes.
Use case: share accurate minutes with stakeholders who missed the call.
Action items
Cono extracts action items from the meeting and tracks them on a dashboard with status Open / Done / Cancelled. Filter by assignee or due date, and export them to your task tools.
Use case: assign follow-ups right after a meeting and track them until they are done.
Ask questions
Ask Cono about anything discussed in your meetings. Each answer cites the meeting and timestamp it came from. Cono only searches meetings you have permission to view.
Use case: “What did we decide about the Q4 budget?” returns the answer with a link to the exact moment.
Dashboard and export
View meeting analytics on the dashboard and export the results.
Use case: review meeting time and open action items across your team each month.
Removing the app
- Log in to your Zoom account and go to the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Click Manage >> Added Apps, or search for “Cono”.
- Select the Cono app.
- Click Remove.
You can also disconnect Zoom from Settings → Integrations → Zoom in Cono.
What happens after removal
- Cono immediately stops capturing your Zoom meetings and deletes your Zoom access tokens.
- All data Cono received from Zoom (audio, transcripts, minutes and action items from Zoom meetings) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
- To keep your minutes or action items, export them before removing the app.
Troubleshooting
- Can’t add the app: make sure you are signed in to the correct Zoom account. If you see an approval message, ask your Zoom admin to allow Cono in the Marketplace.
- Meeting not captured: check that Zoom shows as Connected in Cono, automatic capture is on, and the meeting is hosted by the connected account.
- Minutes not showing: processing can take a few minutes after the meeting ends. Make sure you have access to that meeting in your workspace.
